1992 Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 1 “Martini 5″

This 1992 Lancia Delta Integrale is #136 of 400 Martini 5 special edition models produced and come to us via BaT, who always have the most unique and rare rides on the web. The Martini 5 series was released in the summer of 1992 after Lancia won the Rallye World Championship for a fifth time. Even the decals are just classic. Not sure how long this car will be available, or on the web to view, but to see more, visit this Picasa album.

Skoda Favorit : 1990

1990 Skoda Favorit.

The guild of Motoring Writers rated the 1990 Skoda Favorit as one of the top ten cars of 1990. It was designed by Bertone of Italy, with British and German engineering input. This 5-door hatchback offered 5 gears and a 1300cc engine. It had a two-year unlimited warranty, got 53.3 mpg and sold for as little as £4,997.

BMW Z13 : 1993

1993 BMW Z13.

The 1993 BMW Z13 concept was presented with a rear engine and three seats, and that is not the only odd feature of this hatchback. You have to wonder what BMW would be like today of their vehicles had gone in this direction. Read the rest of this story on Cartype.

BMW Z1 Coupé : 1991

1991 BMW Z1 Coupe prototype.

While the BMW Z1 is labeled a Coupe, it is really a hatchback and is the seed for the beautiful (in my view) MCoupe.

This was the base for a platform concept to research fundamental research in the areas of bodywork construction, materials and development processes, but it’s a good thing that BMW did not go down this design path. It looks like something AMC would have done if they had survived and explored an effort to stay current. Read the rest of this story on Cartype.
